Well done to our very own Melissa Meli who sat down with Curtis McCosh from Cool FM to talk about her journey as a youth worker, through the Department for Communities Job Start Scheme. Watch the interview

Melissa started her journey as a trainee youth and community worker through Job Start in 2022, Melissa then progressed on through the scheme and secured a full-time contract within the YouthStart team.
Melissa is currently studying in Ulster University doing her youth work degree, whilst working full-time as a youth start mentor and working part-time in Carrigart Youth and Community Group as youth support worker.
Her passion and determination to make a positive impact within her local community is something to be admired.
