Clonard Residents Association

In keeping with the principles which the organisation were established under Clonard Residents Association is a Community Development organisation working within the Clonard area of Belfast. This is an area of multiple deprivation and the organisation represents the interests of residents by associating with statutory authorities, voluntary. The Association provide facilities in the interests of social welfare for health, recreation and leisure time occupation with the object of improving the conditions of life for the local residents.

The Falls residents Association works with local residents to deal with issues that affect residents daily lives. Working with statutory agencies to ensure that the best possible service delivery is given to the community. The Residents Association seeks to build on the relationships between statutory and community contacts to ensure a strong and vibrant community.

It provides a programme of arts, cultural and community-based activities throughout the year with its flagship festival, the August Féile being the highlight of Ireland’s festival calendar.

Féile an Phobail is renowned for its strong programming style with festivals that most certainly have something for everyone. Féile an Phobail also offer an increasing number of specialist festivals throughout the year; Draíocht, an arts festival for children and young people takes over the Halloween festivities and Féile an Earraigh that celebrates Irish and Celtic art and culture, music and language which takes place in Spring.
