Springvale to host Christmas Fair!
Springvale Learning will be hosting its Annual Christmas Fair on Friday 8th December 2017 from 10am – 12pm to raise money for the Springvale Learner Fund and Autism NI.
Come along and kick off the festive season with learners and staff at Springvale who have been busy creating lots of different gifts and crafts including festive planters with flowers, wind chimes, Christmas cards, book marks, novelty gifts and Christmas decorations as well as festive treats and warming goodies to enjoy.
This year, all proceeds will be donated to the Springvale Learner Fund and Autism NI.
The Springvale Learners Fund was established this year to reward young people for their success, support enterprise activities as well as provide hardship funds for young people most at need. Autism NI is Springvale Learning’s chosen charity of the year.
As part of its core work, Springvale offers a unique Transition’s Programme for young people aged between 16 and 22 years old with learning difficulties. The programme assists and supports each young person as they transition from school into mainstream training and ensures all learners continue to learn in a safe and secure environment.
With around 40% of learners in Springvale having a recognised statemented special need and 35% of those learners diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder, choosing Autism NI as Charity of the Year is a fitting tribute to an organisation that directly helps support their learners and their families.
