Within the industry, there are many different job roles and with range of tasks (for example, colour cutting and styling) or job roles specialising in one specific element for example, a colour technician only colours a client’s hair).
Hairdressers and beauticians can work in several different places including Hair Salons, Spas, Barber Shops, Health Clubs, Hotels, Department Stores and even Cruise Ships!
You must also have a keen awareness of health and safety issues that may arise in a salon.
