| Description: | Digital Technology Operatives use a combination of communication, design and IT skills to create with digital media clips, web design, digital photography, multimedia tools, social networking images, music and animation videos. They need to achieve a balance between design and ease of use. |
| Personal Qualities: | Operatives must have a keen interest in IT and the internet and strong design skills. They need to be creative and enthusiastic with a willingness to keep up with new web technologies and trends. They need to be able to use specialist computer applications, tools and languages. An ability to plan, prioritise and organise is critical to meet deadlines under pressure. They need to be able to think about ways to use multimedia technologies such as graphics, digital video animations and sounds and to have an eye for detail. Freelancers need to learn how to run their own business. |
