About Us - History

Springvale Learning is a dynamic, innovative and creative vocational learning centre for adults and young people. Now the largest community based learning provider in NI managing in excess of 1000 learners on a weekly basis, the company was established in 1992 as a private not for profit company limited by guarantee and managed by a voluntary chairman and board of directors.

The centre is located on the peace line in West Belfast, was built and equipped by government in 1995 at a cost of £5 million and services both adults and young people from both communities providing learning in bricklaying, joinery, plastering, welding electrical engineering, business and computing technology, digital media, hospitality and retail from entry level to full apprenticeships and employing 70 staff.
