Springvale believes every individual has a unique talent and it is our job to discover what that talent is and to develop that talent to it’s fullest potential. The company firmly believes learning is the best route to employment which can in turn alleviate poverty, social exclusion and inequality in our communities.

We focus upon knowing our customer’s needs inside out. We begin by thoroughly assessing each individual in depth in terms of their literacy and numeracy and ICT abilities, their learning styles, their theoretical and practical skills, their employability, motivational, attitudinal, behavioural and personal social skills, their backgrounds, past experiences and their hopes and fears for the future.

Armed with these diagnostic results and in partnership with the learner we design an individualised personal learning and employment plan including the allocation of the necessary resources and support for the successful achievement of their goals. The key to our success is making the learning interesting, challenging, enjoyable, employment focused and meaningful for the learner.

Fundamentally, learners who complete their learning programme gain their qualifications and many secure employment often progressing onto further learning opportunities despite the barriers to learning faced by many local people.
