Essential Skills Learner of the Year 2011

Springvale Learning student Mark Roberts has been awarded the Essential Skills Learner of the Year for the Antrim Area in the Department for Employment & Learning NI's Awards Ceremony in Hillsborough Castle. Mark, from Andersonstown  secured employment as a landscape gardener in the Pavilion Recreation Complex in Stormont. Four other Springvale students were also highly commended including Patrick O'Neill, John Irvine, Pamela Davidson and Nicole Smyth.
